HyperSim
Advanced Radio Scene Simulation. A next-generation radio scene simulator that goes far beyond conventional RF simulation tools — accurately modelling both the Physical Layer (PHY) and simple Medium Access Control (MAC) layer.
Overview
HyperSim enables realistic simulation of complex communication environments. Its purpose is to create signal and environment to test signal analysis or direction finding software and systems.
Create and analyze multiple coexisting radio networks using technologies such as TDMA, FDMA, MF-TDMA, CSMA/CA, and CDMA, or generate independent carriers with virtually any modulation scheme, including QPSK, APSK, QAM, OFDM, CPM, FSK, multi-tone waveforms, and TDM signals.
HyperSim also models the complete interception chain. Deploy fixed or mobile receivers with single antennas or antenna arrays for Direction Finding (DF) applications, while accurately simulating propagation effects like multipath, line-of-sight blocking or refraction by buildings or terrain obstacles, Doppler, phase shifts, receiver impairments, AGC behavior, ADC limitations, and realistic noise environments (white, coloured, impulsive).
